I'm trying to watch Black Adam, I'm only 10 minutes in and I'm fucking bored as fuck by this basic ass milquetoast story...is this going to be the tone of the while movie? This sucks ass. It's like a fucking black panther ripoff.

@Jazzy_Butts they're firing snyder and replacing supermans actor, dcu is trying to reboot themselves and step away from the edgy snyderverse, everything seems to be going into the rock for some reason
@prouddegenerate That line of reasoning would be sensible for a hero movie, but Black Adam is an anti hero, the edge that this film should have isn't there. This should be the same level of edge that Joker had. This is bullshit. Idk if I'm going to be able to finish it.
@Jazzy_Butts the issue is that Snyder made the good non edgy characters edgy and brooding, and by the time that the character that should be edgy comes along, he isn't, because DC is desperate to distance themselves from Zack Snyder
