National socialism lives in my heart, I want a nation, that is social amongst itself, though not necessarily the world, though that's not a requirement, as socializing globally has benefits, but not too much socialization. Imagine if a father spent all his time at the bar, socializing with the world instead of his family, children, wife, partner, whatever. His home life would be unstable, and his family would be undependable, and they probably wouldn't have much love for his ass. A good nation is a socialist nation, a nation where the greatest help the smallest, and where the people know each other, as a family, how can someone great help someone small if they do not know them, and do not love them?
@amerika I disagree, saying the poor will always be with us, if we were before polio was cured you could say "polio will always be with us", and look how time has changed things. Yes there will always be someone who has the least amongst their brothers, but that doesn't make them "poor". To me being poor is more than just being the one with a lower score. If someone has $100 and you have $90 you are not poor. If they have $100 and you have $1, you are poor, and if your brother won't drop a rope down for you to climb up, while he hears you scream, if you survive you have the right to kill him and take his shit (legally, somehow, of course, with state permission etc. etc.)
@amerika I understand, I am not talking about someone having less and scrimping to make larger more profitable investments later, I am talking about someone who is starving, and if you don't give them food they will die, this person can not be blamed for resorting to force. Until the system is smashed and people are freely able to hunt, farm, fish, and share, unrestricted, aid will need to be rendered to "pinned down" "troops", lest their manpower be lost.
There have always been charity food banks. I do not think that the problem is a lack of food.
The bigger costs in life like housing, transportation, insurance, and so on eat up the poor these days.
@amerika Let's not forget licensing and paperwork fees. Some people don't do well socially, and that alone bars them from "doing these easy things" like getting licensed or filing paperwork. Plenty of people are fucking savants in their field but are so socially fucked that they literally can't and won't do hoop jumping bullshit like filing paperwork or asking permission, they have too much self respect, unlike the suckerfish most people seem to be.
The hoop jumping bullshit is there to suppress the talented. I agree wholeheartedly here.
@Jazzy_Butts
The point is that someone will always have less than others.
Instead of trying to give them money, reduce their costs and let them find their path.
This city thrived when you could live here for under $500 a month.
