huh they really do sell diphenhydramine over the counter here too

alright reading about trip reports this doesn't sound fun at all
@cummies why they gotta keep only the lame hallucinogens at hand, damn
@driftwood dph is decent in the 50-100mg range, you dont go literally insane and can boost orgasm (dont do it often, there is at least one case of ed)

i dont recommend frequent use at all, its oddly addictive since mACh antagonism promotes dopamine neurotransmission. and its tenuously linked with dementia at therapeutic doses
@cummies yeah, was likely only ever gonna try it once, but idk. ill see. i trust your judgement that 50-100 is alright.
@driftwood 50mg is a sleep dose so youll be fine. seriously dont let your curiosity get to you with this though. if you want delirium there are safer options like mirtazapine or sleep deprivation, and even then they are not healthy
@cummies gotcha then. sleep deprivation isn't much fun either. i think i'll skip this whole idea then
@driftwood oh

last one that is good is ambien. delirium but not physically harmful. but you NEED someone sober to look after you
@driftwood addictive like all gabaergics and also you will probably beg your tripsitter for more (happened to my friend)

went well with weed for me but i have no clue if thats a good idea or not
@cummies i trust myself with handling dosages well, and preparing things so that i don't have access to more in the moment, but this is good to know

i don't like thc much lol
@driftwood if its anxiety, the ambien will absolutely murder any possible anxiety lol
@cummies hmmmm, i just react poorly physically - it never sits quite right. the slight upside in sensation is outweighed by the discomfort

US Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy says that he was using zolpidem (Ambien) and promethazine (Phenergan) when caught driving erratically at 3 a.m.[70] "I simply do not remember getting out of bed, being pulled over by the police, or being cited for three driving infractions," Kennedy said.

lmao
@driftwood btw have you tried dxm?

just dont trust dose calculators, if ur hypersensitive you'll get traumatized or killed because your medium dose ended up being a lethal dose for you

start very low, and increase very slow and never use it more than once a month per plateau, its like mdma in how quick it can fry you

also if you're on ssris, snris, maois or other antidepressants just dont take it. there is a huge risk of interactions since its a promiscuous drug. if on stims dont take the stims for a few days before

its got a reputation as a "cant afford better drugs" thing but it has changed my life profoundly
@cummies ...for the better?

i don't usually go by dose calculators but by looking at people's discussions of it and averaging out on the lower end of the recommended starting doses they give

im on a low dose of ssnris rn, and yeah, i imagine they fuck with it, because of course they do. snris fuck with so many fun drugs .-. i won't do anything that interacts with them until im off them

i have not tried dxm!
@driftwood >for the better?
yeah, in some ways. i have a fascination with drugs and i have a new respect for living, but i did also end up overdosing because of that hypersensitivity thing and it was existentially horrifying in some ways

make sure you're at least 3 months off snris before trying dxm. its probably overcautious but serotonin syndrome while tripping is apparently one of the things that will put you off drugs forever
@driftwood also be prepared for cravings, they settle down with time and i no longer have them after using but damn they were intense after that overdose
@errante @driftwood dxm. its easy to fall into addiction with it due to availability and once you pass a certain threshold of daily abuse you will enter psychosis and not stop on your own
@errante @driftwood ik i make it sound super dangerous but diphenhydramine is much more dangerous still

@cummies @driftwood @errante Once my complicated twink bf took dph and we were sitting on my bed relaxing, and he said "Wait, the door! Jazzys chicken!! Don't let it out!"...he thought we were in a car, and he didn't know I was me, and he thought I had a chicken, and he was worried about it getting loose

Follow

@errante @driftwood @cummies We would sleep in the same bed, sometimes I would be naked because I can't sleep with clothes on, he'd always have something on though, and he really liked for me to wrap my arms around him from behind, and press my bulge between his cheeks. It was an unspoken thing, because as soon as I brought it up and wanted to talk about it and make it official, he got scared and couldn't go through with it. We were like that, a weird pseudocouole for a couple years. Complete strangers would see us together and assume we were a gay couple. And that was after he said "b-but I'm not gayyyy" like dude YOU ARE GAY, EVERYONE KNOWS IT (still hurts :blobcatblush: )

@Jazzy_Butts @driftwood @cummies > he really liked for me to wrap my arms around him from behind, and press my bulge between his cheeks.

waaaaaaaaaaaaa

> , because as soon as I brought it up and wanted to talk about it and make it official, he got scared and couldn't go through with it.
