the thing about pedophilia being "queer" is one of those conversations i feel annoyed with every time i see it happening

if you say "pedophilia is queer", i would probably feel the need to correct you, because i don't think that maps belong in the lgbtq club

at the same time though, queer is just a word to mean abnormal/different. so if you look at it that way, yes, pedophilia and other map attractions are queer because they certainly aren't normal

Uhhhhh chief, it IS normal, studies show high, high percentage of males are attracted to girls 12 and up. Attraction/= action so let's not lie about what's normal.

i like this phrase, i've never heard it before. since "pedophile" means "child rapist" in the common vernacular, maybe saying stuff like that could make it easier to explain what we're talking about when we say pedophile
