Maybe the only way for me to be ok with the wrongs that will never be righted is for me to convert into being a woman? Because they seem pretty cheerful despite the whole thing.
They'll never stop feeling bad, just like childhood heartbreak doesn't ever stop hurting.
What happens is you grow, and your heart gets bigger and full of other feels, and eventually that one feel that used to be 90% of your heart becomes a minority percent that everything else overcomes; so it seems faded and not so important.
But that doesn't happen if you cling to those old feelings and refuse to open your heart. Stay locked up and you never heal because you never add new feelings, memories, people, etc.
Moving on is this process of opening yourself up and letting new, other things pump you up like a balloon inflating.
@bitterblossom Being pro Trump for a while gave me a purpose, but then there was no revolution and the cops never said "we're going to stop fining people for unlicensed food carts" or "we're going to stop arresting people for unpaid fines", and it went back to horrible, gangster rape, no limits to the licenses, soon it will be illegal to breathe air without one, and the worst part will be most people won't get in trouble, but SOME will and you'll never know if it's YOU (if you can't pay for a license) and that creates an atmosphere of terror, we are a terrorized population under terrorist niggers and crackers and I get no hugs and I thinking of blowing my head off but I've been wanting that since I was 10yo and I haven't yet but I've never been so alone since these last 4 or 5 years.
