Actually hate this one because it just romanticises childhood. My childhood was rubbish, it's awful to feel powerless and not having a say in shit about how other people treat you and the things you want to do. There is nothing but stress, worries and a lot of caring in one's childhood and there exists none without it. It's all fake, made up entirely.

@cummies @ynnuc I'm much less stressed now that I'm too big to push around, I remember many moments of being bullied and terrorized and gaslit by adults, they'll interrupt and interfere saying things like you're not eating properly, or speaking properly, or sitting properly, and that would be fine but then they get really mad if you don't take on a submissive posture and say "oh I'm sorry i didn't know"
