Lessons learned:
-Do not roughhouse with big people no matter how friendly they are, they don't know their own strength and they will squish your bones apart
-Do not date the impulsive girl no matter how hot she is, do not fall in love with her, she will cheat on you when her feelings are hurt or she feels unloved
-Do not let "friends" walk all over you, it will not be repayed and they will not appreciate your sacrifice
@bitterblossom I got crippled by a big guy who didn't realize that playing around on the dirt is different from a competition with padding on the ground. I'm like the humpback guy from 300 now.

this one time (not at band camp) we had a whole group outside playing swords with sticks.....
....biggest dude there legit just picked up a fucking tree and started swinging it. shit was at least eight inches wide and long enough he was AOEing half the yard. nobody could get close, and none of us were agile enough to successfully (we tried...) dodge and jump over it...
didnt get injured really, but goddamn did that hurt.
