It feels good that I get the sense the shadow government has deemed me a nonthreat, but it feels kind of sad also, like I've lost a friend. I can psychically sense them not thinking about me anymore...it kind of hurts.
But they decided my psychic ability to sense when people were thinking bad thoughts about me couldn't be harnessed in any usable way. They said (I believe) the only possible use would be to give others a sense of existential dread and anxiety so bad they would suicide, but they would have to build a machine to transmit my ability into another person and it would have been a whole thing so they just said fuck it poor bastard.
Like they would have to build an antenna to suck my power, and then build another antenna to send my power, and the person receiving it wouldn't know what I know so they would be blasted in the face with concentrated depression and no mental barriers to defend against it.
Unless they were a literal saintly person and then since no one would be thinking bad thoughts about them they would actually feel a deep sense of peace when "attacked" by the machine.
