I keep seeing this idea that MAP issues are just youthlib issues. It feels like erasure to me. Seems like assimilationist nonsense, ignoring how our culture oppresses MAPs. It would seem to be trying to use the “protect the children” line of reasoning which is used to oppress MAPs instead of rejecting it.

I’m open to hearing more, however. Can someone familiar with this idea give me a better rundown of what it’s about?
