Plus there is so much backstabbing on pedotwt. The maps in the "llolicon" and "proshipping" spheres are always trying to "expose" each other and they try to dox ppl if they like the wrong post.

Plus, I just don't think it's productive to be outside of spaces that we don't control. Like ATF and pedi is way safer than twitter.
@neechan@baise-moi.top exactly... a lotta the time the internet just feels anti-para by default, trying to slip under that passive toxicity is a lot harder and arguably more dangerous than joining an existing safe bubble. i used to use atf quite a bit buuut i moved away from it cuz it felt like it was getting a bit anti and i got scared 😭
@lenkagaminemap @neechan It legit didn't used to feel anti para, I'm 35 now but when I was a kid I learned all about what I did and did not like, I learned there were people who eroticized gore, I learned I was not one of them, I learned there were people who eroticized animals, and I thought I was the only one before then, I thought I was a freak and was embarrassed and ashamed, once I learned there were other people who were mostly like me, I got less ashamed and more anger type feelings. And then there's the weird cases where I think I met someone just like me and we like all the same things and they seem so sane and then out of nowhere while enjoying a hot pocket they'll just be like "I love raping" or some shit and I'm like.............I actually have something I forgot I had to do for the rest of my life don't call me bye
