Every day I become more and more of an "illegalist".

At this stage I see no difference between smoking weed in the park, drinking a beer on the street, taking drugs at the club, and possessing/viewing "illegal content" etc... etc...

I'm not looking for "loopholes" to exploit or to engage in plausible deniability or whatever stupid obfuscation that others engage in so that they can engage in "criminality" while denying it. No.

The "law(s)" that govern us are clearly, demonstrably, no longer fit for purpose. Not even the authorities themselves follow many of them. Everyone breaks the "law(s)", all the time, every day! Police don't feel the need to arrest people who take ecstasy at clubs, even though everyone knows that a large portion of people at clubs take ecstasy or other drugs. They are literally called "party drugs" for a reason.

What does it imply when the authorities themselves don't bother enforcing the "law(s)"?

Our society - global society - is breaking down. The "social contract" (i.e. the thing that gives legitimacy to The State wherever it is, in whatever form) is dissolving, not because of external challenges, but because of internal psychological breakage and the prevailing psychological System's own glaring contradictions.

It's not "the Emperor has no clothes", it's "the System has no clothes". It is on the macro level.

And this is why all States across the board are becoming more and more like each other, even though they performatively act like there are fundamental differences between them (East vs. West, autocracy vs. democracy, C(r)apitalist (TM) vs. "Communist" etc... etc...). All States face the same challenge, and they all naturally have the same response, which is authoritarianism. The paradoxical irony, of course, is that this same authoritarianism will lead to their downfall and the downfall of the psychological System which underpins them.

@Aldo6 Trump and others think they're immortum joe when really they're just dementus (I just watched mad max and it shows how their fascist society parallels our fascist societies.). Mad max and furiosa don't give a fuck about rules, and they're the heroes. The rules said don't free the brides, furiosa said fuck that and took a war rig and said peace shitface and left. How long before militaries start dissolving and people just start stealing massive ships and saying "lol fuck off", similar shit has happened before in empires.

@Aldo6 I forgot there's literally starving sailors on ships now because they can't get supplies. That's a great way to lose control. A real dementus move.

@Jazzy_Butts@gameliberty.club this problem was not started by Trump. It only seems that way because Trump is more open and honest (whether deliberately or unintentionally). I've talked before about how many "liberal" "elite" types hate Trump not because of his positions on things (like being anti-Iran, for example, or supporting Israel) but 𝘩𝘰𝘸 he goes about pursuing those positions. They hate him because he pulls back the curtain. He is like a magician revealing the tricks of the trade.

Also, that story about sailors on the carriers not having food is a load of bull. Carriers (really any ship) that are on long deployments have to go through all the perishable food stock before they get resupplied because if they were constantly topped-up then there'd be risk of contamination of fresh food. This is basic seafaring 101 (there are a plethora of Youtube videos where journalists spend time on a ship and focus on the cooking/food/utilization of space and the aforementioned point is made repeatedly). It's interesting that both the Iranians and anti-Trump Democrat partisan types picked up on this shit, while those same partisan hacks criticize Trump all the time for "sharing the talking points of Iran/Russia/China". Once again, they hate that Trump is, for better or worse, open and honest with his use of power. They prefer to hide in the shadows, to wear masks, to play the part of "the good guys" so that duped people vote for them before they inevitably betray their base.

@Aldo6 Turdboy wears the mask of retard, while actually being retard, he's not like George bush jr who pretended to be smart but was actually a retard. Trump is a dementus. Pretends to be crazy, thinks he's not actually crazy and his pretending is working, but he's actually crazy.

@Jazzy_Butts@gameliberty.club Dementus was a more enjoyable villain than the predictable typecast Immortan Joe.

I don't think Trump is wearing a mask. This is why people call him "mercurial" and no one can say with certainty what he'll do next. When one wears a mask that is because one 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 to be predictable. That is why much of Trump's political opposition 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 to wear a mask of "respectability" because they want people to view predictability ("X party is always the safe option") as the pinnacle of governance, even while they consolidate and abuse power (just like Trump does) and betray those who voted for them.

@Aldo6 Trump literally wears a mask via orange facepaint, he's like the joker, nothing the joker said was real, it was multiple choice.

@Jazzy_Butts@gameliberty.club I dunno man, many times what the Joker says is real, it's just misinterpreted, which is the point.
