There seem to be a lot of rational reasons to why pedophilia should be normalized and the more I think about it and delve into it, the more I find.

But I think I don't really care anymore.

The primary and most important reason why I think it should be normalized is that I *want* it to be normalized. And that is perfectly sufficient as a valid reason.

@racyturtle it's not just our rights

it's progress towards minor rights.

consent is a human right that children are bereft, not just in the sense of intimacy but medical and more.

children are humans, why do we treat them as property?

@pukekoque @racyturtle

Why do "we" treat kids as property:

Because we, apparently unlike other animals, can imagine death. We hate and fear death but we know that death will inevitably find us in the end. Even if we conquer aging and disease in the next 15-20 years (very likely) death will still catch up to us at some point, even if it's death by violence, accident, or we decide it freefly for ouselves. We treat kids as property because we want them to be an echo of us that doesn't die when we do.

We also love them and want to keep on loving and admiring them and being proud of them. Want them to be versions of us that are better than we were. We want this desperately and so we also, want them to be a vehicle for the propagation of our values and beliefs in truth, goodness, and beauty. This is why normies groom their kids and use schools to groom their kids as aggressively as they do and get furious when they imagine MAPs grooming their kids. It's like we're getting their kids to cheat on them.

Finally, it's the job of the kids to not just be the improved echoes of their parents, its also on the kids to carry the entire society forward largely unchanged and "immortal." It's the job of the kids to do this once the parents are gone. They have to protect all the beautiful and good things "in the world" from the bad people who would destroy those things or change stuff into weirdness and incomprehensibility. Bad people like MAPs and their weird world of sex and radical agency, etc.

Finally, kids are property that is meant to inherit property. We don't want the buckets into which we pass our property on and "preserve the lineage" to be gross or weird or broken or ALIEN. We want the family to continue on as it is.

Parents, then family, then society; all want to continue on as unchanged and immortal as possible. It's all on the kids, every time. If the kids don't or can't manage this, they sometimes get disowned. We don't see this all the time, but we see it often enough that we remember it and know it as something that can and does happen.

@GavinPrynne @pukekoque @racyturtle This this!!! I tried explaining this to my mom and she said I could just adopt and I FEEL bad because I was raised by her to believe that adoption is beautiful and adoptive parents ARE parents and all that but......I hate feeling like passing on my knowledge isn't enough, something inside me fears that by not reproducing I will be like a plant that reproduces by spreading and rooting, no seeds, it just spreads and roots, creating a continuation of itself, even as the older parts die. I want cosmic immortality, dna childbirth is the closest we've got as humans.
