After watching Lanterns be a hyper "grounded" superhero show, watching VisionQuest feels like a breath of fresh air; even despite having similar gimmicks. Praying this one sticks the landing and doesn't faceplant at the finale.

@Slipstream I'm just happy we finally have a chance to give Ultron some fucking depth. Alan Moore is spot on when he says comic books are fucking fascist, they are, and they can be so much more than state approved propaganda. Ultron should have challenged the viewers fully, he should have made it very clear that a gang of humans with the powers of gods, and their human but government affiliated associates (black widdow, hawkeye) going around playing god is unacceptable, and by the end of the movie a resolution SHOULD have been made that resulted in a less hierarchical philosophy in the marvel characters world, thus freeing them from the bonds of Ultrons valid criticisms so they can maintain their integrity as icons. Instead the movie shits all over Ultron with a "communism bad" tasting plot of defeating an army of identical hivemind drones who's valid points are never addressed, wonderful plot points left to flounder because it scared the ruling class too much to make a film about class consciousness that actually has any depth. /rant
