I wonder why the cool parts of the internet are mostly male-dominated

@mewmew I have no idea how common this is, but I think It is also more common for men to be totally isolated from the rest if the society. When you spend ~10 years without any friends in 'the real world', you will eventually find other ways of spending time. And since you cannot 'socialize' in the mainstream way, by definition you will have do develop some niche hobbies.
