@LukeAlmighty I really don't see it. The two defining aspects of a comment section is that 1) all the people reading an article will have quick and ready access to comments on said articles, including criticism, and 2), that the writer of said article will receive feedback on his work, including negative and hostile feedback.
From what I saw, Dissenter comments only become visible to other people using Dissenter, meaning that Dissenter would have needed to become like 100,000 times bigger than Gab to actually serve its purpose in any real way. As things stood, the Normies reading articles wouldn't see the Dissenter comments, and the article author would be blissfully unaware of the Dissenter feedback.
@ChristiJunior@LukeAlmighty It's worse than that. GOOGLE attempted something like Dissenter with the largest user base on the web at the time and they couldn't make it work.
