A 6 YO me could explain this to you. I was playing, looked up and saw something beautiful. So I said...

"Look, it's moon!!!"

And then I heard response, that blew my mind.

"Come on you idiot... Moon can be seen only during the night."

My grandma has not looked up during her entire life for long enough to see the moon. Some people are just happy to be blind.
