No, you don't get it.

They do want only one thing. TOTAL POWER. And the best way of achieving that is when you can argue 2 totally opposite arguments at once, while being able to switch them whenever it fits your needs.

You're too bad to get a job, you're for affermative action, because you're discriminated against. You will be fired for your race? RACISM!!!!

It's really easy to see once you realize they are not arguing, but they are throwing magic words instead.

Problem with orwell is the same as with the WW2 poems. They got the concept, but were unable to describe them in such a rords, that people knowing the work saw it comming.

In other words, people learned about the concept, but 99 percent did not understand it.

Even those who understand the concept mostly live under the delusion of “it can’t happen here.” When, in fact, it’s literally happening here.

That is literaly what I said. Understanding the concept means understanding the signs, steps and inevitable result.

That is the best lesson from programming. Once you know the rules and imputs, you KNOW what the result will look like.

There’s not understanding, which is what you’re talking about, and not accepting, which is what I’m talking about. There’s also a third problem: correctly seeing it happening in the “others” when it’s happening on your side of the aisle, too.

Doesn’t matter who’s doing the doublethink, it’s all bad.
