Trump is in an awkward position, trying to make the Corona virus appear way more deadly than it really is to make his handling of the situation look good. Blaming Democrat governors, or even questioning the official US numbers would probably have worked better. At least he pointed out that China's numbers are complete bullshit.

Trump doesn't look too good on the tax question, but it is a valid point that such tax policies weren't (and couldn't) have been created by Trump, and seeing how Obama had been president for 8 years during the years they're talking about, they're basically attacking the tax policy of Biden's boss.

Most likely, they don't want to loose any non-white votes, since not even most whites are able to accept this tragic truth. I cannot immagine many blacks realizing how bad things are.
