Women listen up

some toss pot from the dark side of the web is threatening to dox me?

So what should one do?
@EmmaFaber

I am trying to find out if other instances have access to your ip address, so far I don't think so. The instance you are a member of (in this case, Spinster) will have ip logs, of course, but we'd need someone who understands how it all connects to tell us if admins of other servers can see your ip.

If you use the same screen name all over the internet, especially Facebook, this makes you more easily doxxable. People generally dox themselves since the rise of FB and Twitter.

Someone like @mk or @alex would know if other instances can see your ip.

@MandyJane @EmmaFaber @mk Other instances have the IP address of Spinster’s server, but not your personal IP address. You talk to Spinster, and Spinster relays the message to other servers on your behalf (without sending any sensitive data like IP addresses, email, or passwords).

@EmmaFaber @MandyJane @mk Correct. Also, due to the fact the image contains Sonic the Hedgehog, I’d say it was a joke not meant to be taken seriously.

Literally scrolled through /Downloads on my phone 'til something tickled my fancy.

That said, let's talk about the folks on spinster asking "how to find me"

You know, other than going to 4751 St Joseph Creek Rd, APT 106 in Lisle IL, 60532

Also, my social is 310-17-1733. Come. At. Me.

Give me a ring! (630) 470-1769.
