I guess I blend in with all the SJWs out there now 😂 I really like how the colour turned out though.
@just_julia
Not much... Job is great and food is plenty
So I guess things are great for me so far
how about you?
Well that's good (: What's your job?
As for me, school's fun and I've got lots of time for music and writing, so life's wonderful.
@just_julia
I test SW.
It has all the advantages of a good stem job, but requires none of the talent...
Although, a good dose of autism helps when you need to click every button 30 times a day...
That actually sounds rly cool! Do you do much coding in that case?
@just_julia
I could, but I am not that good with coding yet.
Not to mention, that while more talented people are writing tests, it is always much faster to test the new features manually. My job is to go through the new feature and find things the developer could have missed. That requires more of the "outside of the box thinking" but the tests themselves are usually really fast to do by hand.
Huhhh interesting. Do you enjoy it?
@just_julia
Yes, I love it.
It never gets repetetive, since every mistake is unique, and I have to not only find them, but understand them enough to help the dev fix them.
that's awesome! It sounds like such an interesting job... tbh I might look into it now 😂
@just_julia
While the real talent and money is in programming, while I was at UNI, I found out, that I was not nearly smart enough to be programming at any useful level.
So this is still a great alternative, although the understanding of IT and programming is a must.
Yeah... it sounds really cool tho. Anyway, how are you today? (:
@just_julia
Prety well
But I am getting angry about the batchelor paper. I should start writing it again, but it's the prime example of pointless waste of time...
bachelor paper? is this for university?
@just_julia
yes. That makes it worse.
Try working on something for months only so 3 people will skim through it once. You coudn't come up with a bigger waste of time if you tried...
that’s the worst... do you enjoy writing?
@just_julia
Btw, what exactly do you study?
I'm still in highschool 😂 so a lot of things. On my own time I do a lot of music and writing, and I've been trying to educate myself on IT and coding related stuff too
@LukeAlmighty
Aweeee hi 😊 what's up?
