I hate to be so negative, but this is simply unacceptable. You want to separate the entire society to prisoners and ginea pigs, just because you are too scared of catching a flu?

If you want to allow citazens to return to their lives, it should NEVER be based uppon taking an experimental chemicals straight into the veins. What kind of moster even are you, to thing that it is normal in a society, where this kind of experiment is considered immoral even on animals?

Don't get me wrong, bug chasing still does sound better then becoming a lab rat, but still, do you not see how ridiculous does it sound to say, that if you want to not be a prisoner of state, you HAVE TO chase the virus?

Now, how do you categorize a non infections person? If you base this category on a 100kč home test, then the category is useless. If you base it on lab tests, then that is in no way a return to a normal live...

If you base it on a person not showing symptoms? Now we're talking in good faith about re-opening the society. But I seriously doubt @keddie did conider that option.

The main reason SARS-CoV-2 became so widespread is that a significant portion of infected doesn't show symptoms. That's one of the big differences from the flu you are comparing it to. So what you're used to working for flu doesn't work in this case and it's not an option.

Except that is the exact opposite of what happened.

People were supressing symptoms with meds and hiding the fact they cought the covid, because they were afraid their entire workplace would have to be closed.

Even if asymptotic transmission was sometimes occuring, the covid did spread only because politicians did give people a good reason to spread it.

But if you believe that pcr tests are the way back to normal, then you are just delusional beyond reasonable conversation. Covid does not change laws. Politicians do.

@LukeAlmighty Yeah, you are suggesting a strategy that wasn't successfully applied anywhere in the world and implying that all the scientists, politicians etc. totally missed basic facts and that all the countries have all these measures for no good reason and you talk about chasing the virus, experimental chemicals and whatnot but I'm the one delusional beyond reasonable conversation. I never claimed to have red all of scientific research on transmission mechanism of the virus, the way it infects cells, it's reproduction within cells, it's way of fighting the immune system itself, the way it affects vascular system of the host, the way the lungs are damaged... Every single mechanism on level of chemical reactions. Then, I never claimed to have inspected the methodology of each study to determine the weak factors, made a follow up and re-created each research.

No, I never claimed to do any of this. Because I am not a fanatic who claims that ALL OF SCIENCE is on his side. But you red a news article, so you are correct right?
