I know how hard the linux is for average user, It's too hard for me aswell.
But the worst parts of linux fit into 3 categories:
APP Stores
User elevation
Fyle system not having a standard disk:\folders structure.
And while most people do understand problems in 2nd and 3rd example, The app stores make linux look like a closed up toys. I know this is about perception, but I hope you get my point.

How hard is it to type your password or sudofile system blah blah
It makes sense everything is a file just because it's different doesn't mean it's bad it's just that your not used to it I find it very nice compared to windows where if you run out of drive letters you can't add more drives

As of disk problem. Solved. You have one disk called /. For removables use dc file manager.
