No budiž, problém je to tam komplikovaný.

Levičáci to samé.

Až si říkám, kdo ta témata lidem implementuje do hlav?

No čím dál víc chápu, jak mohou fungovat války. Lidé jdou proti sobě a stačí jim něco nakukat do hlav. Je to tak snadné. Rozděl a panuj.

When it comes to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, things realy are complicated. While I do consider helping muslims to be always dumb move, helping Israel would be outright immoral, so I have nothing to say then LET THEM FIGHT.

But that was not your point. To your actual point, people do choose most of their policies based on their character. As far as I do understand, there are 3 main moticators for political understanding. Need for freedom, stability and equality. So, it makes sense, that once you understand what is the motivation behind one of their decision, you might get how they will decide 20 different topics with a reasonable accuracy.

And then, there are NPCs, but there is no point to analyzing NPCs, since they will follow whoever is ruling no matter what. They followed Hitler, They followed Caezar. They followed Nero and will follow even Biden. So, there is no need to worry about their "opinions", since they will change them on the spot.

@LukeAlmighty I'm still struggling with it and trying to understand it, because I can't think of falling somewhere myself. Once there, another time elsewhere. In some ways I am right-wing, in some ways left-wing. Maybe it's also because these two categories are too narrow to fit. In fact, I have been thinking of them as a stupid model, the purpose of which is only to divide people into two camps. It's like fitting 3D space into 1D. That model of freedom-stability-equality looks much better. Personally, I think that there is also a category of pragmatists, but it has nothing to do with a negative perception of pragmatism. The point is to use the right tool in the right place. And when one looks at society in this way, then one finds elements of socialism, communism and capitalism in it. For example, in the family there is something like communism and no one usually protests against it :-)
The problem is when the effort is to apply just one model to everything. Then it will never fit to all needs and sometimes even fail.

Obviously, there is always a strong fight between idealistic and pragmatic way of achieving your goals. For instance, i idalistically believing that the entire world is not totally fucked yet believe there is a slight chance of leaving the EU and starting to fix this country. If I haden't held this belief, only god knows what kind of desperate realistic scenarios would I have to consider.

So yeah, I have to give you that. Idealism and pragmatism are important to consider, but they will be just 2 ways to the same goal.
