Well, I woudn't worry about politicians so much, because they are psichopaths. Literaly. Most of them are there just to grab tax money and stay within the overtan window, while trying to look like they are fighting for something. That is why Trump was so hated. His honesty was unpresidented. *pun intended
The moment average normie conformie starts spouting right wing ideas, 80 percent of politicians change opinions faster then you can change underwear.
When people from the "Conservative" party in the UK support hate-speech laws for example, I think what we have are politicians willing to stay inside an overton window controlled by the left, because it seems more beneficial for their careers. Most of them probably wouldn't be able to take on the left as the cancer on civilization that they are anyway because of their lack of convictions though.
It's weird how they look at the left calling them racists, while demanding racists to be thrown in prison, and think that this is somehow part of the game of democracy, instead of an actual threat to themselves and the rest of the country. It must be really comfy to be a politician, choosing to live on these levels of willful ignorance because anything is better than rocking the boat of their political careers.
