The problem with AI is that people making it have a human-centric bias.
Humans to spend 80 percent of their time talking to each other in english about pop culture. Something, that has no meaning for the AI, and where AI is missing 10-80 years of non-stop context. Second thing humans do is manipulate real word objects. AGAIN, something AI has next to no context to work with.
Once you give to AI a problem where it does have context and access to the problem, it is almost always leagues ahead of stupid little hoomans.

No, you cannot give AI context for everything. It is impossible.
You cannot give it context for real word physics, until it has a real manipulatuon world goal. You cannot give it real life manipulation goal, until it has a a working responsive body. You cannot let is make micro goals, until is understands importance of objects in the word. Object is a fluid term, depending on goals.
In short, AI learns better then any human ever will. Literaly, there will never be a man born smarter then AI. But it exists in a different universe then we do. Quite literaly. And the manipulations it can manifest in here are still just not to our liking yet.
