How about if we created a decentralized social network, where each server can federate with others??? Sounds good right?

I am seriously starting to doubt the server wide moderation tools were a good idea.
sadly, they are inevitable...
Positive thing that the people who believe in fascism and suppression of basic human rights can live in their own little fascist servers where all wrongthink is verboten, and the rest of us can say unpopular things and listen to unpopular things in peace.

@graf @LukeAlmighty @stux @the_owner_of_mastodon @zero Well, the system just has that level of brainwashing set up that people just believe in democracy and human rights while those allowed into the capitol are sentenced by the system courts.
Anyways, when the system is gone, they probably will feel the same as those who experienced the fall of Nazi or Eastern Bloc, a refresh of their minds.
Reaching places like poast I’d say is hard. Unlike Communist China where you get the system set up propagandas right outside of their firewalls on all corporate media, you need to find your real self in order to discover and appreciate poast. Sad for those who jumped out of one narrative and into another, sponsored by a more evil government.

Fortunately these decentralized social media platforms also come with moderation tools so you don't have to put up crap people think other are waiting for or something?
