Sign our petition to the University of Leicester to revoke its student sex work policy and toolkits

We wrote earlier this year about our grave concerns about the University of Leicester’s ‘Student Sex Worker Policy and Toolkits’ which read like a guide to getting into the sex industry and are now being rolled out to higher education institutions around the UK.

Responses to our freedom of information requests show that the university did not consider the equality implications and the potential impact on the whole student body and wider community. We believe that this was a failure of its legal responsibilities to work to eliminate the disadvantage, discrimination and harassment of women and other protected groups and to work to improve relations between men and women generally.
