@graf This is not even about working at home. As it says in the article, if you work from home in the city, you get 0% cut.
If you work from home from the suburbs you might lose 25% of your salary.
They know they can do this because living expenses outside the city are lower, so employees will accept it.
But it's insane, they were paying them the full amount before, and clearly they're providing no less value than city people.
If anything they should encourage people to live outside, in order to counteract the massively inflated cost of living in the city.
