I just hate linkedin.
I don't get it. Amazing site for looking for job, so why the fuck are they too lazy to implement "hide profile, I am not FUCKING LOOKING FOR A NEW JOB YOU IDIOTS. I HAVE A JOB, DO NOT WANT MY INFO PUBLIC AND DO NOT WANT TO SET THIS SHIT UP AGAIN IN 5 YEARS WHEN I FINALLY GET LAID OFF." wording might varry slightly of course.
It would make the site 1000 times less anoying to use.
@LukeAlmighty the purpose of linkedin is to produce spam :-) so far I never found a job thanks to that network, I use it de facto only as a pdf generator when someone wants my CV.. and I found it full of headhunters who know absolutely shit about what one does.. and they offer me jobs in cool companies that I would never want to work for in my life.. thanks to the fact that I made a folder in my email where it all falls, so I don't mind, but otherwise I would probably cancel it.. it's completely useless..
