Everyone knows that... But noone cares, and the Marketing people care the least put of everyone who doesn't care. 
These people are payed no matter how much the product sells, and they do care about their immage more then the slight option of their boss growing some balls and firing them on spot.

CEO Benefits from share price, and woke apes will withdraw shares without hesetation if news even mention moral behavior.
So, CEO is cucked
Employees notice lack of moral behavior, and start being lazy. CEO cannot take a stance, Company releases shit. Wokies buy shares, and CEO profits, while the sales are slooooowly going down.
It is a curse, but The model of publicaly traded companies in combination with NPC trading leads to this inevitable conclusion.

I do not work at Sony. This is a global problem for most publically traided companies.
Let that sink in for a while 
It can also work the other way around (and not saying this is what happened with Sony but it does at other global publicly traded companies) where the employees demand woke-ism of their corporate governance and management follows through with that to pacify the employees (and conveniently cover up some anti-employee / anti-consumer practices because, hey, now you're donating to BLM and that's more important).
...Still the same outcome with laziness and shit.
