Yeah... It was surreal playing the game after all of the reviews, and just sitting like:
What the hell? This average shooter, and it got so many perfect scores?

Except in case of Skyrim, I can see some redeeming qualities. But the Bioshock was just a shooter with 1-2 slightly unorthodox mechanics. So, when I think about it, Doom is a perfect analogy.
