Anyone know why my Linux laptop can’t connect to American Airlines WiFi (on the plane)? My Android phone works, but on elementary OS it gets DNS errors. I tried manually adding the DNS server to my network config and even adding entries to /etc/hosts, but it keeps failing with DNS errors.
@LukeAlmighty @alex what sort of retarded university would impose that restriction?
@alex
Oh sorry. I mistaken DNS for DHCP.
My fault
@alex
(I had to do this at the university... Because only "1 device" was allowed per student)
-_-
