My friend then made out with her girlfriend and they cheered and I was thinking to myself, “Why the hell are you doing that?” .. like why would you engaged with those guys?

There are some things, that are just so statistically awful, they become unrealistic. And a stable family is one of them. You can push blame, point and laugh at single men, who want nothing more then a stable family, but if so many women out there want to be "strong and independent", it is IMPOSSIBLE for all men to get their dream.
