That's literally why most of the shit going on right now is absolutely unorganized and happens to feel like a movement, like people quitting jobs en masse. Everyone from tankies to costumed Nazis actually agrees on hatred towards Amazon, big corporations, landlords, and shitty working conditions. The left asks for $15 and makes tl;dr memes about being paid living wages, the right and shitposters make wage cage and boomer employment strategy jokes.

They will never say this and if any organization happens they will end up self sabotaging. After all nobody can organize in this climate where everyone is complaining about each other online and eternally divided, and yet different groups are coming up with the same idea of "drop out of the system and watch them struggle".

Eventually even their new imported refugees, their outsourced h1b and factory workers, and more are going to start asking for more without even having the idea planted into their heads.

Covid was the boomer remover workforce-wise and the workaholic Gen X shitbags taking over are feeling the pinch.

The two sides are so fucking close to one another that they can smell each other, but they get hung up on wedge bullshit like "Nazis are evil" and "Commies aren't people" and "They're mean to trans" and "They hate white people." They're sweating. Now is when you check the egos at the door and make them sweat harder.

Did you know there's a strike at the Kellogg's plant in Nebraska? Nebraska is NOT a union-friendly state culturally and Nebraskans of all people are reaching a breaking point with how they're treated at work. When a group of people with as deep of slave mentality as Nebraskans starts organizing, you know something's very wrong.

The immigrants coming aren't high skilled ones, rather they're Mexican laborers and similar groups. They're not going to replace the high skilled boomers dying off/retiring or a void of hopeless younger types unable to find work post college or even not bothering to find work. Furthermore with remote work how many who aren't living in a part of South America/Mexico that's too shitty (or with some internet access) are going to just keep living there and use the currency exchange rate to live large?

Some vanity career that doesn't pay rent in the USA can let you quit your job and be rich in a country with weak currency too, and I've seen this happen a lot more now. They can pay you less, and you get to live on more than a local job wage.

@TapWaterAddict @LukeAlmighty @deprecated @djsumdog @qwerty Mexicans aren't coming up anymore. It's Guatemalans, Salvadorans, and Hondurans. The border crisis right now is all Haitians. Even Mexicans see what's going on up here and would rather try their luck at home. The coyotes are peddling their services to people in other countries rather than at home, where it's a much harder sell.

I know if I had an alright-paying work from home job I'd seriously consider finding somewhere cheaper to live. Lain's choice of Costa Rica is a really popular destination for our moderately well-to-do that don't want to retire in the US, with it being safe and inexpensive. I'd look into Belize, personally.
