I must aproach their stand as CAREFULLY as possible not to make any eye contact, and half of them still do not understand I do not want to talk to them.

Why do these people have to make shopping as anoying as humanely possible. If I want to buy, I will rise my eyes, or even.... say "hi"... There is no need to complicate this shit.
When you go random like this, it also confuses them and inclines them to silence.
Doesn't matter to them. You have to teach yourself to mutter and smile and they'll leave you alone with less annoyance than if you show them how much they annoy you.

|In my case, it is choosing the path of least effort. Getting annoyed then calming down is energy intensive.
@LukeAlmighty maybe i am autistic, it was always a horror for me whenever i needed to buy something and a salesman immediately went to me asking me what I want.. (panic..) I do not know what I want.. or, I want something: please go away and let me think and look around first without observing me! :-)
