@verita84 I think what many anti-transgender and anti-homosexuality people don't get is that the great majority of the left is *not pushing anything*. Homosexuality and trans-sexuality have always been around. You don't choose them; you are them. This extends to many traits entangled (I think uniquely and beautifully) in the cluster people call "identity".
@verita84 I say great majority because I think the great majority of people in the left are reasonable and well-meaning, like in most human groups. There's always outliers in any direction though. I can imagine an unreasonable leftist but all I can say is that all leftists I've met (and I consider myself one) have been reasonable.

And what about just commies? Well, they want all of my money and will shoot me if I refuse. So the same problem.
