All groups I'd include in that would be based on specific actions as opposed to solely on the basis of identity. And I'm aware that there are those who would engage in identity-based destruction but I don't see them as likely to gain power in the foreseeable future.

So I wouldn't ally myself with them, even temporarily for strategic purposes (authoritarians of all stripes have a tendency to seize power, just look at the Spanish civil war).

Fascist regimes generally target political dissidents but usually don't focus on going after particular identities. Mind you that doesn't necessarily make them good, but I consider the two groupings as different enough in ideology and behavior even though there's some clear overlap.

No. Obviously, they didn't do anything. But they still should be.

I knew a kid who never ate, never spoke, never walked. For over 10 years, he unwillingly enslaved his parents. It killed his mother.

So, spare me moralizing about this issue. His mother could have had another healthy kid, followed by decades of happy life. And that is something worth dying for.

I'm not saying "Sparta had it figgured out." All I am saying is, that a kid, that in his entire life does not make a person smile, Dies not enjoy a good meal, or does not help his friends a single time in his life might actually be a detriment to the society.

And worse, actively hurting people around him by mere existence.

I know that isn't what his parents thought. He was expected to have at best a chance to live 5 years. His parents managed to double that.

But I also see, that they coudn't give the same ammount of love to their other kid. It drove them do debt, and most importantly... IT KILLED HIS MOTHER.

Life is sacred. But not heartbeats.

I know what I saw. It wasn't hapiness. It was the definition of hell. And it's exavtly the feel good lines like "Life is sacred." that make it impossible for some people to live. It is also the same line of thinking, that caused the lockdowns, and ruined thousands of lives during it.

I had an interesting talk with my step mom recently. I asked her what was the most important question while voting.

It was euthanasia.

Because she knows her time is aproaching, and she might end up in the bed of ethernal pain.

But we must safe her sacred heartbeat right?

And I know what I saw. They were so happy they even turned her room into a little temple. They adored her, as crazy as it sounds, she managed to make them happy.

People make choices, you don't know when someone will be happy with their mission or terribly miserable. It's how they take life challenges. You can't judge what people will do. Either way it's never the sleeping guy's fault.

I will fulfill my mission, and I will never engage in making potentially stupid decisions irreversible, I won't taint my hands with stupid people's blood.
Take cancer for an instance, people say it's irreversible and that it doesn't have a cure. But I know there is a cure, I can cure it. People take their lives over it. When they could be treated instead. If I assist in the killing of someone stupid who wants to die over a stupid belief like that, I AM TO BLAME, either I know about the cure or not (someone else could know). Life is sacred.
