> Maybe they should be honorably discharged upon receiving a positive test and sent home to care for their kids?
No. The nation spend way too much training on them all to just miraculously get discharged 3 months into any serious conflict.
On the contrary, they are breaking their service. If women want to be in military, they can, but do not let them escape their duty for free. Let them suffer the same way a man has to.
@ArdanianRight @Shadowman311
Obviously.
But: Morality is also an important factor. If you make an example, and send a preggers mom to the front lines, you won't loose 1/2 the fighting force the moment a real battle starts.
Was it a mistake to accept women in the first place? Absolutely. But now, the least you can do is to try forging them into sodiers. No matter how many of them end up broken and infertile.
@Shadowman311
That's the point I'm making.
You send one pregnant women to battlefield, and no women will get pregnant during the crisis.
Or, if you send them home, all of them will become pregnant as soon as things get tough.
Your choice.
@Shadowman311
No vorries.
It is hard to argue unusual viewpoints accurately.
@Shadowman311
Or.... you could make a pregnancy exception for the draft, and then fake out war 10 times in a row.
Congratulations, you fixed the fertility rate for a generation ![]()
