I don't believe in the college "indoctination" theory though. Like I get forced to regurgitate lib talking points in my writing class but it hasn't shifted me any. Gay that they can even do that though, if professors made students regurgitate conservative shit they'd be fired on the spot

It works on people, who are easily influenced by peer pressure, because you have all of the important factors to them.
1) percieved authority (teacher) giving them the right opinion and sometimes shaming the wrong anwser
2) collective, that isn't fighting back obvious injustices.
Although, it does seem to build serious resentment and character in anyone who was suppressed.
Nature made humans ducerse in this way, because no matter what decision the society is making, tbe oposite must be present. If society is wrong, the dissidents will survive. Othervise, the society will. But either way, you cannot kill off everyone on one bad decision that way.
