@LukeAlmighty some dude I met once told me he basically cleared his diabetes with this
@coolboymew @LukeAlmighty fyi its not substantially better than anything else you can do on your own. but its a good way to distract from the work and is a nice little rpg too. not a silver bullet but certainly cheaper than a gym membership
@why @LukeAlmighty the problem is exactly getting myself to do anything on my own, I absolutely LOATHE it

@coolboymew @why
Cardio is hell.

Lifting on the other hand, I quickly found to be very fufilling.

@LukeAlmighty
Any tips? I seriously have no idea about this subject yet and thinking for years starting it.

I work from home, so having this next to the PC helps.

Also, do not focus on lifting the heaviest you can. Focus on lifting enough, that it can tire your muscule enough, that you cannod do 1 more lift... and then repeat 15 min later.
(Not an expert, just saying what I do.)

Also, I eat a ton of meat. :ablobcool:

@LukeAlmighty But what weight to start with, how quick to up it? Should I just sit down and train both arms simultaneously? How often do it on a day?

I just don't want to break my back. 👀
@okabe_rintarou @LukeAlmighty this
https://stronglifts.com/5x5/
is a very in depth guide to all the barbell exercises you need to start. as long as you focus on proper form, you won't get injured.
it doesnt cover dumbell exercises, but im sure you can find similar info online
@why
Thanks! I also remembered that I got an ebook about weight lifting some time ago as well, so I'll check both out later. 😅
