And if it does have keyboard/mouse support, why would I drag around a keyboard and mouse to play on a tiny screen when I could just use my laptop?

You know 90 percent of PC games come with gamepad support out of the box right?
Not to mention, that "tiny screen" had never been an issue for switch games, so why do you think yhe exactly same games will have issue when run on portable pc?

Not gonna lie, there are obviously games, that would be hell on deck.
War thunder already declared support(I think), but how the fuck am I supposed to play the "find black pixel" part is beyond me.
4x games with walls of text will be hell too. But that still keeps most games perfectly playable.
And... everyone is talking about emulation for a reason.

Because I want to play games? I do not ser how the fact the games used to be on consoles makes it argument against Deck.
I see is actually as a huge argument for it, since some games are not adapted to keyboard and mouse properly.

I got one of those that can game. It also made me see the light and how good trackballs can be.
On the topic of the deck, it's a niche thing. I'm more hopeful that Valve will be able to use it as an excuse to make as many games available on linux without hassle as possible. Want to ditch windows but I find gaming on linux daunting.

What a shame though, since Switch is not considered Niche, even though, it offers so little.
The best experience is on a desktop anyways
This should run games up to the PS3 easily. So N64, PS1, PS2, GC, DC which these other machines do very badly
