@LukeAlmighty I did something similar for my folks, bought them some extra stuff just in case. Besides thinking I was crazy, they basically made meals out of the bags & CANNED food I got for them within a few weeks. This is even when they have seen prices skyrocket & foods disappearing off shelves & from delivery orders due to supply chain B.S.
It's hard enough that I barely know how to prepare for the worse because no one bothered to teach me survival or preparation skills, & when I try looking after others, they don't make things any easier for me or themselves.

Yes...
My thought was: If we enter war etc,,, we're fucked. And my prepping, saving etc will be useless.
But at LEAST, I can prepare for a 3 week food shortage. That is doable, and will do a world of a difference.
