Although, Red Letter Media actually pointed out
- there wasn't a huge establishment of Rafi carrying about what's his face, except by flat out just stating it
- in TNG there were cars when whole ships were blown up and the crew had to do their jobs instead of giving into emotions
Essentially, the argument is that the federation trains officers to deal with emotional issues and still do their jobs, then deal with the emotional part later.
@chrislw
True, although, I am not sure any of them except for 7 and Picard are actual officers.
Most of them are either "supports" or even in case of Rafi, drug addicts.
@LukeAlmighty But isn't she an officer now, and wasn't she previously an officer before they booted her for being a "conspiracy nutjob"?
@chrislw
Nepotism I guess ![]()
@LukeAlmighty
I never watched it. I didn't really have a desire to.
The only reason I was interested in Picard was, well, Picard. But, Picard isn't really Picard in Picard so, it isn't worth it anymore.
Heck Q, isn't even Q. At least, not fun Q.
