It literally is a tantrum, but if someone rapes a child and then that child has a tantrum, does the real issue suddenly become how Jimmy is screaming at his teachers and shit? No.
Such is the same with petty acts of random violence vs a State that is explicitly hostile to someone on racial grounds.

A problem behind the problem @dave is that during last few years, we saw public intellectuals show the biggest compilation of bad faith arguments immaginable.
If I told you, that we will hear for 4 years straight, that election results cannot be trusted because of Russian hackers. That there would be months long rioting. That President of the United states would be scilenced by private corporations and his own cabinet would lie to him... And all of that would be ignored, while a 1 day long peaceful protest demanding the election to be as transparent as possible would be called a treason...
How can you possibly respond to that? How can you respond to intellectuals like Sam Harris saying, that all that happened before doesn't matter, because the 1 day long protest for transparent election is a bigger threat to democracy then 9/11?
Because there is some issue that isn't being addressed. And I really don't want to know, what ignoring it will lead to.
