The last time I downloaded Skyrim I deadass just turned it into a roguelike where my character just wandered the land searching for artifacts with Teldryn and adopted nord child who just wanted to pick flowers

It's amazing how fun the game is when you just ignore the entire plot and also add 200+ mods, one of which makes the game an actual warzone because surprise there was a civil war going on

I have added a mod adjusting difficulty to be irrelevant to your level: (dragons are deadly, don't try approaching Daedra, go kill rats), as well as return an xp based skill system.

And the game transforms completely. I had no idea just how much detail there is already in the game. The world is much deeper, then the main quest implies.

@LukeAlmighty You know what really surprised me? You can make the game playable without really installing mods just by tweaking the ini file. Literally just removing summon limits and upping default bounty makes a world of difference.

But for me the definitive mod was that one mod that just changed all of the perks so it was actually viable to do actual character builds instead of stealth arching despite being a clear mage or warrior type
