It's a cool technology. Yes, it has a limited use, especially in dirty horor environment, but I think, that when it comes to space sims, the added value will be amazing.

Also, it is obviously dumb to rev up your GPU to 100 percent for any graphical detail. But when you'll play the game in 15 years, the "high ceeling" of graphical detail will be a good thing.

@LukeAlmighty it will be viable from RDNA 3 and lovelace but it shouldn't have been introduced before 2025 and the way devs are using it is retarded imo

Obviously, most games use it for 2 random 1*1cm surfaces, and that is pathetic.

@LukeAlmighty will be interested to see if they can implement full path tracing , global illumination , reflections and shadows on everything on full notch by 2025
