Given how Affleck became batman 20 years after being daredevil, there's some opportunity to come full circle here.

I could understand how the meaning was unclear.
Affleck played Daredevil 20 years ago. Then Affleck played Batman. Now, Pattinson is playing Batman. Affleck could play some fallen villain that Pattinson has to fight, and it would work in the "crossover" universe".
