@mono suddenly being locked in due to covid restrictions meant boomers went extremely online and they weren't really prepared for all the weird schizo shit they were about to take in. They don't know how to parse out noise from signals, they don't know how to sniff out feds and shills and worst of all... they don't know when it's all just ironic.

The worst thing is actually their complete lack of understanding of online anonymity. It scares them, and makes them want to push internet into a surveillance technology.
