@feld @ArdainianRight @LukeAlmighty @bot Please, elaborate on how my logic is faulty.

1. You are born.
2. You live, laugh, love. Whatever.
3. You die.
4. ...Nothingness. Forever.

Step 2 is meaningless if Step 4 is true.

But you're saying there's some kind of meaning to be had there?

@victor @feld @ArdainianRight @bot
>Step 2 is meaningless if Step 4 is true.
Please, explain.
I REALLY, and I mean REEEEEAAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYY don't understand that step.

I have 2000 dollars in my pocket. Some day, I will spend them. THEY ARE MEANINGLESS!!!! How???

@LukeAlmighty @feld @ArdainianRight @bot Of course you don't understand, because you have a block in your mind. Let's revise it for you.

1. You are born.
2. You earn $2000. You spend $2000.
3. You die.
4. ...Nothing. Forever.

You can just as easily take out step 2, and the story is the same, as far as you're concerned.

1. You are born.
2. You die.
3. ...Nothing. Forever.

And at this point, you see where it's headed, because any trace of you disappears at the new step 2, you really just end up with the logical conclusion, from your perspective:

1. ...Nothing. Forever.
