I refuse to accept the pre-supposition that atheism makes you accepting of degeneracy.
Modern christianity is almost defined by the meekness and letting others do all the sin they want, as long as there is a chance, they might come to a church once after 20 years.
Sorry for being so agresive on this point, but seriously, I am tired of hearing how atheism makes me a degenerate.
Atheism does not cause acceptance of degeneracy. In fact, sometimes, religion causes degeneracy; just look at the Puritans in America. What causes mass acceptance of degeneracy is bad culture, which in turn has its own complex causes. But it is cyclical, and prosperity leading to decadence and then into megalomaniac hedonism is a key and recurring part of that cycle.
